Recipe Roundup! 12 Most Popular Recipes This Week

I’ve been posting a lot of fun recipe links to Facebook and Pinterest so I thought I’d put them all in one post in case ya missed any. I’ll also be emailing this out to my subscribers, as I do with all of my new posts, so make sure you subscribe on the right hand side of the page if you don’t already. It is the absolute only, sure fire way to get all of my new recipes.

Chicken Fried Steak

This one has been kicking up a dust storm on Pinterest lately! Featured on this post are also links to the recipes for everything on that plate. I’d sure like to sit down to that after a long day!

Pumpkin Pie Dip

It’s never too early to start thinking about holiday get togethers! This shows up in my Pinterest feed every time I log in so y’all must agree. This delicious pumpkin pie dip is a blend of pumpkin, cream cheese, confectioner’s sugar and just the right spices. Great for dipping gingerbread cookies, graham crackers, or apple wedges!

I posted this fairly recently but it’s popularity has taken off, especially once folks tried these delicious mildly spicy, sweet meatballs. Perfect for a day with family, watching the game, or just because.

Ma’s Chicken and Rice Bake

(A Bags to Dishes Meal)

With winter coming on and the chances of folks being stuck at home due to weather (not to mention all of the other situations in our world right now), the assurance of having all of the ingredients handy to make some meals has really inspired folks. My Bags to Dishes post (click here) explains how these meals work, how to convert your recipes to shelf stable ingredients, and offers several recipes that you can just print off, assemble, and know that you have what you need to feed your family should you be unable to go to the grocery store.

And a great big thank you from me and Mama!

This week I announced that I have finally convinced Mama to become a regular contributor here on SouthernPlate.com and her first recipe post in this new venture went up a few days back. She has been so overwhelmed with the kindness y’all have shown and has enjoyed replying to the comments on that post. Look for lots more from Mama (and me) in the future! Right now she is planning on one post a week, good Lord willing and the Creek don’t rise.
