Ingredients





Quantity for 4 cups or 2 cups

  • 200 ml of cold whipping cream from the fridge
  • 2 generous teaspoons of instant coffee (classic or decaffeinated)
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar

Method

How to make coffee mousse

First of all, dissolve the instant coffee in 1 teaspoon of boiling water (do not use additional water otherwise the mousse will become liquid!) Even if it seems too little, a soft paste should come out!

place in the freezer for 2 minutes, it must cool down.

In the meantime, prepare a bowl with high sides and some electric whisks.

Finally, add cold cream from the fridge, the cold instant coffee paste and the icing sugar.

Tips and Variations

If you don’t have instant coffee you can use 2 cups of espresso coffee restricted but the consistency will be softer like coffee cream

If you have eggs to consume, try the coffee custard version
