RESTAURANT REVIEW: PIZZARIA LIMONE (3 Utah locations)

It’s been a while since I have found a restaurant worthy to share! (Actually, it’s been a while since we’ve been out to a new place…) Well, we enjoyed our dinner so much I had to tell you about our experience.
Pizzaria Limone has 2 (soon to be 3) locations in Utah. I have heard others talk about their pizza for a while, but didn’t know one was open downtown, pretty close to us! They specialize in “Neopolitan Revival” style pizzas. Their crust is thin and bubbly, covered in marinara and a combo of 5 cheeses, and then they add some seriously awesome toppings. (They also have some tasty-looking salads, soups, and sandwiches! I’ll have to try those next time…  maybe… once I commit to pizza I have a heard time cheating.) Click here to review their menu.
We ordered a (kids) pepperoni for Elle, and Mike and I shared the Viola, which is topped with prosciutto, BLACKBERRIES, pistachios and basil! (IS YOUR MOUTH WATERING!?!) Blackberries! Yes, you read that right. It was amazing. Slightly sweet, but warm and savory… oh, gosh. And Elle’s pepperoni was incredible, too!
I am a little irked at myself that I wanted so long to visit- I have a feeling this will be a new favorite for my family! Aside from the food, my favorite part was the casual environment- similar to Chipotle where you stand in line, order, pay, and dine- it was clean, comfortable, and a perfect environment for a date night or family night. (Plus you don’t have to tip… which I don’t mean as rude as it sounds… but with kids… sometimes I don’t have the energy to pay another “meal” just for a tip. And this feels more laid back, while still being a night away. Know what I mean?) Our family of 4 (Jude eats more than Elle) ate for less than $15. Awesome!
^^ The menu & salad portion of the line- you watch your food being made, which I love!
^^ The Viola. It’s bigger than it looks!
^^ (“Kids”) pepperoni (I’m pretty sure it was the same size as ours:)
Next time you’re in the mood for some fresh, light, bubbly pizza, head to Pizzaria Limone (and have an extra slice for me)!
*Note: this post was not sponsored by Pizzaria Limone- just enjoyed by my family and shared with you!
