Good morning, friends! I hope you’ve had a great week and are planning a little down time this weekend. Ricky and I have come to enjoy our one day off more than we ever imagined possible. With Monday being a holiday for most, we’ve decided to be productive over the long weekend and spend today, Sunday, and Monday decluttering and finishing up painting a few things around the house. If you’d like to see the new color I chose for the den, kitchen, and hallways, check out my coffee chat video in last week’s Gazette. I didn’t do a coffee chat this week but I’ll be back next Friday morning at 7:00 am central on my Facebook page.
Here are this week’s popular Quote Pictures! Follow me on Instagram to see them first and click here to see all of them. You are welcome to download any you like and share them on your social media, text them to your kid away at college, etc.
Inspiring Story
With all the bad news we hear these days, I’m always on the look out for stories that spark hope and remind me of the goodness in this world. Click here to read the whole story behind this picture and see why it encouraged me so much.

Labor Day Recipe Suggestions!
We’re using this weekend to work on the house, paint, organize, and declutter so I don’t plan on cooking much. For those that have a different sort of weekend planned, I recommend Crock Pot NoAla Style Pulled Chicken BBQ and Craving Beans!
Fellowship T-Shirts!
The first order of Fellowship t-shirts have been sent and received! This is our second order. This order closes September 13 and will be received by the end of the first week in October. Note that these are pre-orders so these dates are important to know. This go around you also have the option of a sweatshirt or long sleeve t-shirt as well. If you would like one, please use code FREESHIPPING for, you guess it, free shipping. 😉
Click here to order yours but please understand that this is a time sensitive thing and once September 13 is gone, this link will no longer work. A lot of folks plan on wearing these to the Potluck Fellowship Picnic at the end of October! This picnic is in Huntsville, Alabama and everyone in the fellowship along with their family is invited to attend. Order here: https://www.tentwentysevenapparel.com/collections/shop-all-tees/products/christy-jordans-i-read-the-bible-and-talk-to-god-a-lot use code FREESHIPPING. The clock is ticking if you want to get in on the next Bible Reading Cycle! I’m currently adding new members to Christy Jordan’s Front Porch Fellowship. Membership will close again soon and won’t be open for another year. We will surpass 11,000 members today and we are a wonderful community of folks who encourage and pray for one another as we read through the entire Bible together in a year! If you’ve never read the entire Bible and feel like something is missing in your spiritual life – I assure you that you are absolutely correct, and this is the group for you! If you’ve ever struggled to understand the Bible, this is the group for you. If you love the Bible and just want to join with others who feel the same, this is the group for you!
