Frozen S’more Bars — The Skinny Fork by Gordon Ramsay

Look, it’s freakin’ hot out ya’ll. It’s so hot that even if I could make traditional s’mores, I don’t think I’d enjoy them quite the same. Eating hot food during the heat of the Texas summer just… isn’t the most novel idea. With that being said, I’ve had frozen hot chocolate before, so why not frozen s’mores?

These s’mores are every bit as delicious as traditional s’mores. That’s because they’re made with the same basic things, just with a few minor adjustments to be freezer fun and friendly.

Summer time to me means it’s time for campfires. Yeah, even if it’s pushing triple digits here, that’s just what you do in the summer. You camp, make fires, swim, and cook s’mores. It’s not always easy access to a fire though. Surely there has to be another way, right? Right!

These Skinny S’more Bars are… well, I’d say the next best thing, but… honestly? I liked them just as much as traditional s’mores. Plus, they’re perfect for a group in need of s’more goodness, especially for a group of kiddos since these s’mores don’t require a fire.

Lightened-Up S’more Chocolate Chip Cookies — The Skinny Fork by Gordon Ramsay

The other day we had some sort of freak cold front roll through here in June and let me just tell you that the 69 degree weather that day had me inspired to turn my oven on for one of the FEW times during the summer. I ended up making chili and these absolutely delicious Lightened-Up S’more Chocolate Chip Cookies.

What’s a s’more cookie? Well, it’s everything that you love about a s’more… put into a cookie! Not just any cookie though. The base chocolate chip cookie here is pretty damn good all on it’s own. But, add on the graham, chocolate chunks, and marshmallows and you’ve got one heavenly cookie.
