Yogurt cake: the creamy, easy and delicious recipe!

If like me you buy it light yogurt to stay on a diet but no matter what you eat it… you can prepare this with it creamy yogurt cake. With fresh raspberries and a sprinkling of icing sugar it’s a real treat!

This is certainly not the first dessert featuring yogurt, we have already published several recipes that include it as an ingredient. For example chocolate and Greek yogurt muffins and yogurt plum cakes. All tall and soft desserts perfect for dipping in the morning milk and coffee for breakfast.

Today’s recipe, however, is different! This creamy yogurt cake, in fact, is shorter and has a soft and enveloping consistency. It lends itself perfectly to being a dessert at the end of a meal. I recommend pairing it with in raspberries because they really look amazing on us.

How to make yogurt cake

The procedure for preparing the creamy yoghurt cake is easy, you simply need to be a little delicate when handling the beaten egg whites. In fact, they will need to be mixed from bottom to top to be integrated into the rest of the dough.

A small specification: once baked, the creamy yogurt cake could lower yourself a little, mine did too. No problem, everything is normal, you will feel that the consistency is exactly what I described. A creamy, enveloping cake capable of surprising with its lemon and vanilla flavour. Speaking of vanilla, I used the vanilla bean, extracting the seeds. Believe me, you can feel the difference, so if you have the chance I suggest you use that instead of the usual vanillin.

And now that all the necessary premises have been done, I would say to proceed with the recipe and prepare this delicious yogurt cake together!
