Shortcrust pastry preparation in the kitchen


Ingredients for making homemade shortcrust pastry

200 gr. of flour, 100 gr. of sugar, 100 gr. butter, 2 egg yolks, 1 pinch of salt.

Shortcrust Pastry Cooking Recipe

Put the flour and sugar in the container of a food processor or hand blender and let it run for a few seconds. Add the butter, cold from the fridge and cut into 3-4 cm pieces. Mix everything, add the egg yolks and put the appliance back on until you get a homogeneous mixture (about 20 seconds).

Use: shortbread: roll out the dough and cut out some discs with a glass. Mix an egg, a few drops of liquid caramel and 2 tablespoons of milk. Decorate with a fork.
